I previously posted an image with chicks under the parent. This image was taken the same morning. There had been two chicks under the parent and one popped out. Usually, the chicks start running as soon as they pop out but this one looked at me for second before running.
D7100, 600VR with 1.4 tc. 1/1250, f/11, iso 1000. I ran a bit of bg nr.
