I see lots of eyes A fish head, a dog's head, otters, birds! If it were straight and sitting upright it could be a totem.

I'm glad you saw all the creatures within. Here is a vertical version.

I like the vertical even better. Now I see a person and an opossum as well. Reminds me of Dante's Inferno

I later noticed I didn't have constrain image selected when I made it vertical and sized it down to 800 px high, duh. Here is the correct constrained version. I also added to the face painting in the first vertical version so you may have seen other faces but I was in a hurry and it isn't as good as I'd like.

This is awesome! I see faces and eyes and lots of creatures, especially the little white mouse head near the center. The shading and the monochromatic colors really make this fascinating to look at. I find myself searching for new faces each time I look at this. I like the vertical presentation best. I am very curious what the base image is. Great title, btw.

Very clever Judy and very apt title, an image that holds the eye very well with lots to explore

Thanks everyone! I started with a black and white preset version from Moku Hanga of this image I posted already http://www.birdphotographers.net/for...ead.php/112752 of the crepe myrtle bark. Then I twirled it and duplicated it. I took that version into Topaz Restyle and got a reddish toned image and played with blend modes and opacity. I wanted more interest and grunge so I added this attached version into the mix in soft light or overlay I think and lowered opacity. Last I added a multi-colored grunge texture that was pretty dark so I lowered the opacity pretty low.

That is an amazing transformation, Judy. The most amazing thing is how many distinct faces and eyes there are in the finished product and there are no faces or eyes in the tree bark
