    F 7.1 1/2000 Iso 1250 , crop for comp,

    That's a nice shot. I like the pose and the raised foot on the water. Exposed well and very nice details in the feathers and the head. I like the head being highlighted by the right wing. Good job.

    Excellent landing pose, sharp, and in good light. Nice BG. I'm actually opposite with David, I thought it would be nice to have the right wing above the head of the bird :). joke aside, well done. Loi

    Love the dancing action with the bit of splashing. I'm OK with the wing behind the head, but just a bit of bad luck that the very tip of the bill is merged with a dark feather edge. Subject a tad large in the frame IMO but the IQ is superb, as well as the appealing colours and low angle.

    Lots of interest...I'd just loosen up the composition so that the bird can dance.

    Hi Robert, love the soft light, and I do like the alert stare and pose with the raised foot. I can see a version with a touch more contrast.

    Wing behind the head works for me because of the color contrast. Great eye on this Reddish too!
