    The White Storks have now left this area of the Alentejo for Morocco.
    They will return in mid November.
    This frame shows one of the last as he/she hunts for frogs in the meadow.

    A nice shot showing the bird over the habitat. In respect to the technical aspect it seems the photo was taken in very harsh light since the whites are practically washed out around the neck and the top wing and the black areas in the wings seems to have been underexposed and then recovered via post processing? Not much you could do in such harsh light and with a black and white bird.... very hard to get!
