    Here's another frame from the terns' bathing pool on Plum Island last month. C&C appreciated as always.

    D7000, 700mm, ISO 1000, 1/2000s @ f/7.1 manual, fill @ -1.7, lowered tripod.

    Excellent follow up image. I enjoy this one just as much but for slightly different reasons. The water/bathing is very alive and well captured. The bird's head angle and details, given what's going on, is killer good. No suggestions for any improvement.

    Bill:

    Very nice active bathing image, and you have a clear view of the eye which is essential to make this type of image work, when water is flying everywhere.

    Nice head turn.

    I would display the quiet version and this one together to tell the story.

    Great image. I like the water droplets filling all the frame. The out of focus droplets give a sense of depth to the image plus a perfect HA which is hard to get in situations like this. TFS.
