Very nice, Mike. Tough to get so close to these guys, and you got great detail and a lovely BG. I could imagine a version with a tiny bit more room top and left, but I'd love to have this just as posted.

Gorgeously lit subject that is well known to be a difficult bird to photograph. Love the sharp details on the bird against the well controlled but not overly sterile background. The perch is unique, given what I see this species photographed on often.

Beautiful portrait of a skittish bird. Love the sharpness and details. Well exposed. The perch is a bit less than ideal, but I would take it ny day. Loi

Hi Mike, the comp works well, and I like the high placement of the KF in the frame. Well exposed, sharp, and good DOF throughout. Sweet BG too. Well captured.

Nice relaxed pose, light and killer background. Not my favorite perch but works fine I guess.

Fantastic shot with great sharpness, light, composition and very good background. Can't be much better than this.
