Hi Nigel, I see no image. You can refer to the following thread for posting guidelines (and posting from flickr):

Feel free to ask if you need help!

Aha, now we see it! More of an out-of-the-box image but I see you also posted it in Eager to Learn...I've moved this one there due to its' bigger posting size. Interesting patterns and nice greens, I also like the wisps of white, are those flying birds?. Some of the blown spots would have been better toned down as they distract a bit. Good to experiment, and glad you are sharing some of the results with us!

Thank you for your remarks , the image was a flock of sea gulls lifting off due to they getting spooked by a loud noise

Nigel...I like the abstract look and feel...I understand why Daniel moved it to OOTB but it is also welcome here. Lets try again in this forum...we love to see unique composition and different looks at life. Most pros never use ISO 100..it is too restrictive and the Nikon can go much higher. The day will come when you need the shutter speed and the higher ISO numbers support additional stops of light...which in turn support faster shutters speeds. Please keep em coming...thanks for posting this image...nice!

Hi Nigel- I really like blurs and find them very challenging to pull off. I like the abstract feel and the colours. As a concept, blurs are a very personal thing. For me I like the blur to show the subject rather than to be so abstract that the subject is not at all obvious, as here. 1/25s should do that but I wonder if you panned at the same time?

I often have to run my ISO at 50 to do these so I certainly "get" the ISO 100.
