Nancy, it's lovely as stained glass - is it some kind of native grass in its original state?

That is really a spectacular effect Nancy! The design and colors and simplify filter have created a beautiful image. You should print it!

I love this, so much activity and interesting colors. It looks like pen and ink on top of a color wash - a very nice artistic technique. Would look great as a stained glass piece!

Wonderful color and a lovely balance of complexity with an underlying simplicity in the repeated but slightly varying elements.

    Nancy,

Greetings. Really like the color, the subtle green-purple contrast is great and the stained glass look. There are some black dots along the top edge and a few along the bottom edge that I would remove if it were mine, and maybe the white dots (right edge near top, left edge near bottom) - small details.

I see a nice large print.

    Cheers,

    -Michael-

Thank you all! Cheryl, can't fool you! It is a field grass we call "Needle-and-thread". It is lovely to look at and graceful as it bends in the wind, but very nasty for dogs. The "needle" end is amazingly sharp and the shaft is twisted so it works its way deep into the skin. I don't know how this is helpful to the grass but it causes a local infection for the dog. I must check my dog every day for these seeds until the season is over.
Micahel, I must need new glasses...I can't find those spots you mention!

Oh it's probably not worth mentioning... I only do so as they are on the edge, probably small line segments from the line drawing in Topaz Simplify (?) A small detail if this is headed for print. Here's what I was talking about anyway:

It might show up more in the original high res master.

    Cheers,
