Default Curious Juvenile: Oriental White Eye.

Image was created in the cloudy morning today. Cropped for composition and sharpened.
One OOF branch above the head removed.NR applied to BG. I should have used smaller aperture to get the bird in DOF.
I have kept the branch in RUC for balancing of the frame. Your opinion is highly appreciated.

    ISO: 1600, 1/400 @ F: 5.6.
WB: Auto. HH. Canon: 550D, 400mm.

Thanks for viewing and appreciation. C & C are highly appreciated.
    Kind Regards.

I would take the branch out , as I find it to be a distraction to an otherwise fine image. Great color and BG.

Nice picture, sharp where it counts, with excellent details. I like the pose and the repost is better, Satish.

Hi Satish, love the inquisitive look, and I like how the yellow of the head pops against the grey plumage of the body. A slight hint of over sharpening on the top of the head, and good job on removing the OOF branch in the URC. It gives the bird good space to look into.

I too prefer without the branch up there. I'm not usually one to remove such large elements via processing, but I am not against it and feel the tools are there for that when not possible at time of capture. I like the grasses in lower right, they add some interest. I understand your point about dof, but it is fine as is...what needs to be sharp is. There is a small space between the legs that needs some NR too...

Very nice Satish. Great looking pose on this little bird. Exposed well, lots of detail, great BG with the foliage and I like it without the branch in the way. Looks cleaner. Well done.

    Satish:

Love the pose. I agree with Daniel, I normally wouldn't remove such a large object, but it clearly helps here.

    Cheers

Add me to the group that prefers the upper branch removed. I think it really strengthens this image. I love the look of the bird and the colors really pop in this image. Daniel is right about the NR between the birds legs (and maybe even on the oof leg). Well done, Satish. A really great shot.
