    Default A Very Late Nest

Found a pair of very recently hatched common tern chicks tonight. This one is the smaller of the two and still has the little egg tooth on its bill tip. The other one is a bit bigger and probably a day older. Very late for these guys , so I sure hope they make it.

Magnificent image. Very nice color scheme.I like his sleepy eye, nice details and low angle.
    Would increase some contrast.

    Regards,
    Satish.

Hi Joe, cuteness factor all over this, and love the fuzzy plumage. I do like the low perspective, and the angled pose looks great.

this is one cute chick! The added shell is a bonus here. Love the low angle view and the soft BG, good light and sharpness, good exposure. Excellent use of fill flash. I can't tell! Loi

Such a great job on this, Joe. Hope I got a portrait of the little guy half as good. The light surely was crap but you made the most of it. Thanks so much for alerting me, Gail, Grace, and Emily to this adorable chick.
