Greetings. I've been having some posting difficulties lately, but maybe this will work?

I can't seem to insert photos, but hopefully one will be attached. The attached photo (I hope) is the sooc full frame processed with several passes of Topaz Adjust and a blended fill layer.

Here's hoping you can see the photo.

    Cheers,

    -Michael-

Photo appears just fine. I'm thinking wood? Very nice shades of brown and the shadowed lines & holes make a great composition with the fainter lines flowing the opposite way. Topaz Adjust has lots of options. Which one did you choose to work with?

    Nancy, Cheryl,

Not wood, not coconut... In Topaz Adjust I didn't keep track but most impact was with Grunge Me BW in the Stylized Collection. I used a color toning pass also maybe Brilliant Warm in the Classic Collection. In between a couple of solid color fill layers in PS blended with one of Overlay, Soft, Hard, Linear Light & opacity to taste.

I guess it isn't as obvious as I thought.

    Cheers,

    -Michael-

Gosh, I don't know... Looks like the surface of Mars or some other planet.

Hi Michael. Really like it, certainly looks like an aerial view of a landscape. The textural detail is wonderful, as is the composition. My guess would be leather, now that I read it is not wood. Regards~Bill

Ah, Bill, it is an aerial view of a landscape ... ;-) & Kerry, it is the surface of a planet... I took this photo from a gondola suspended over the Glacier du Geant on the slopes of Mont Blanc (blind shot holding camera out the gondola window pointing down). Crevasses with a flow patterns on the snow (snow melt ?). Gondola runs from the Aiguille du midi to Point Helbronner (Chamonix, France) on the Italian border... great ride.

Thanks all for playing... and the comments.

    Cheers,

    -Michael-

You did a good job with the color and filter work. I was going to guess a landscape of some kind and then I saw your post.
