An apt title as there is plenty of texture here. Nice light quality, and the angle of it has helped you gain some of that texture. Subject feels a bit tight in the frame IMO, and I agree a better head angle would have been super.

Thanks for the comments. I agree, the head angle not 100% and I wish I had more space, especially in front of the subject. Ben

Lovely image Ben, despite being a little light, you have captured some great colour and textures here. I may be inclined to straighten up the bank with a slight clockwise rotation.

Elephant skins do love some golden sidelight, Ben. I would agree with your self-assessment above, as well as Brendon's rotation suggestion.
