Late evening Elly. I liked the texture of the skin in the golden light. Canon 7D, ISO 320, 1/800 F 4

Nice golden light. Like the walking pose, but wish the head angle was more towards you. Loi

An apt title as there is plenty of texture here. Nice light quality, and the angle of it has helped you gain some of that texture. Subject feels a bit tight in the frame IMO, and I agree a better head angle would have been super.

Thanks for the comments. I agree, the head angle not 100% and I wish I had more space, especially in front of the subject. Ben

Lovely image Ben, despite being a little light, you have captured some great colour and textures here. I may be inclined to straighten up the bank with a slight clockwise rotation.

Elephant skins do love some golden sidelight, Ben. I would agree with your self-assessment above, as well as Brendon's rotation suggestion.
