    The soft light shows off the plumage well. The wing position works for me, and the background gives a sense of place without being too distracting. Well done.

    Great capture Frank! I love flight shots with some sort of OOF and not distracting background, and it's nicely shown here. The wing position also works for me here. I'm not sure what you started with, but I probably prefer a horizontal orientation. Furthermore, I'm not sure what lighting you were shooting in, I thought there's a bit of blue/magenta cast on the bird. I could see a bit of warmer tone to the overall image while removing the cast...just a thought.

    nice view of the Juvi with a good BG. It needs a bit more sharpening and ditto the blue/magenta cast
