    Canon EOS 7D | Canon EF 300mm f/2.8L IS + Kenko 1.4x Teleplus PRO 300 DGX + Canon Extender EF 1.4x II
    Manual mode, 1/1250 sec., f/7.1, ISO 640

Cloned out a few bugs/dots in the water. Cleaned up the water highlights on the bill. I kept the mudflat the way it was shot. I thought my shutterspeed was fast enough, but I guess it wasn't as the right leg had a bit of motion blur as the plover put its leg back after scratching its face.

    All C&Cs are welcome!

    Thanks,

    Raymond:

I like his pose, leaning forward with the wing and leg position. The blur of the leg adds to the image for me.

    Good shooting angle, exposure, comp.

    Cheers

Awesome pose, don't mind the leg blur at all, it adds to the image imo. The exposure and sharpness are great. Well done.

Great pose, sharpness and detail. The blurred leg is actually a plus for me. It gives a sense of movement to the picture. The bill looks a bit funky to me. It is nice and clean but it looks like it has two distinct color tones.

kind of a comical pose here. makes the bird look like a real character! I could see including more room in front of the bird if you had it in the original

Nice details, the pose makes it interesting on the eye
on preference i may like less of the OOF foreground and more of the smooth BG in case you have it
the level of the pic is very interesting

Great shot. I like the low angle and the pose. The blur of the leg is a bonus here.
