    Default Side Lit

This is a Chestnut tailed starling a male, he was trying to make some sound with puffing the throat and the light was from the side, thought it was interesting to make this image,

    5D MIII + 400 f2.8 + 2x
    f 7.1 , 1/125, ISO 1000,
Light was low some rays were passing which more of glowed the throat area

let me know if this works as a composition, i could have cloned the stick in front but kept it as i liked the moss

Nice pose and detail. You might wish to clone out the sawn off twig left of image.

Hi, Very interesting and unusual- looking bird and pose. I like the illumination of the throat. I don't mind the sawn off twig. I wonder if the greens in the bg could be toned down a bit. Richard

The unique pose and subject makes this one for me. I like the perch with the moss and the feather detail looks good too. I agree on toning down the green area a bit in the BG. Well done.

Nice capture. I like the perch as well. Perhaps more room on the left and less on the right would be better (as in shifting bird/perch to the right).

Cracker of an image Vishal, Lovely everything. The sawn off perch and the hanging moss behind the tail are a slight distraction for me. But like it as presented. LIke the details in the feathers as well.
    Where did you take this?
