I like the colors and perch. Whites on his back look a hot and I wish he had a tad more room on the left.

    Mike,

Very nice composition. Wish feet are little more visible. Also a nice eye contact.

Hey Mike I think those are Ultra Breeding colors Do look impressive but might de sat just a tad !!!

This is so close !!! The whites on the bg are not too bad since they are totally oof The foreground oof green does come into play !!! Might also take a bit of the back to keep him out of the frame !!! You did well with these guys MIke !!! So hard to get them in the open !!!

I really like the way the pinks show. Great BG as well. The back does look a bit hot, but I don't know how you could avoid it with such strong side lighting.

    Michael,

I like the backlit but suggest here that it would have been better to go for a more silhouetted exposure to tame the hot whites on the back and more fill-flash to illuminate the bird. Saturation is too high and I am not too crazy about the background - the OOF white birds (I assume) distract. The head turn looks just a bit away from you - preferable to have it a few degrees towards you.

    Hey Michael,

Strong colors and back light. The composition works for me but I have to agree with Robert on this one.

    Nice meeting you!

    Take care!
