I hate it when I start thinking and I did.
I am preparing to remodel our kitchen, I'll be making my own cabinet doors, drawers etc.
So I decided to read up on a couple of carpentry techniques I was not as proficient at as I would like.
One article I read presented a few nice "tips" and concluded by saying "remember carpentry is a hobby"
What an assumption. Carpentry is not a hobby for me, it's a necessity.
So this is when the thinking started, are BPN participants nature photography hobbyist or are they something else.

Other: To me Nature Photography is a lifestyle. Sort of like health & fitness for many is a lifestyle. For me nature photography is a part of everyday living, every bit as much as my passion for nature, wildlife & birds. To me, being out observing nature behind the lens is pure joy, regardless what anyone else chooses to call it...
