Very nice Diane! I like the edge. Is that from PhotoFrame? I had that in CS6 but I haven't figured out how to install it separately in CC because it was already in CS6 when I upgraded to v. 7 of onOne Suite.
Hi Judy,
Thanks! Yes, OnOne's Photo Frame. I love how you can mix different layers to customize them. They should have info how to install it in (or copy it over) CC. I'm staying with CS6 until I see how things go with CC. When they start coming up with some of the fixes needed (Lens Correction for example -- it's a mess in CS6) and some new features that I find compelling, then I'll swallow the perpetual subscription thing. Preserving full access to all my layers is just too major to give up if I might decide to bail at some future point.
The new ACR 8 series has an all new lens correction module called upright. I'm not exactly sure how to use it yet although I've seen it demoed in 2 classes online at creativelive.com It didn't seem to work on one image but I didn't try to solve it right then. With the architectural images I saw it used with, it worked great for horizontal and vertical distortion. Is that what you have problems with, leaning buildings, or is it barrel and pincushion distortion?
This is very lovely. Beautiful lines and very nice patterns of colors and shapes. Love the framing effect.
I like the composition and the effects your created. Very nicely done.
Hi, Diane, I like the complimentary colors and I always love Simplify and trees! I'm really liking the Lens Correction in LR 5 and I've been happy with CC so far.![]()

I agree, Simplify works really well with trees and foliage! I love the colors and the amazing Simplify leaves. The border look is nice, makes the image look like it is painted on manuscript paper. Well done!

Like an exquisite patchwork quilt...like the effect and like the way you have faded it out on the edges
Judy, it's accessing the lens profiles used for auto corrections that is buggy. Am away for a few days with only the iPhone -- did a reply but don't see it now. Will answer in more detail when I'm back home with the computer.
Forgot to say, thanks everyone!
OK -- back home t the computer, so back to Judy's question.... The thing that bugs me about the Lens Correction in PS is not the geometric corrections -- they work well, although I often resort to Edit > Transform > Distort for more control. But when you bring up the Filter > Lens Correction window, if an image has been cropped the auto corrections can't work right. Cropping in LR / ACR is non-destructive so it knows where the original frame edges were. That's the place for auto corrections. There should at least be a warning to that effect.
