    Standing on a rock at high tide in Wolfville Harbor, Nova Scotia, recently.

    D7000, 300 f/4 AF-S with TC14e-ll, hand-held, Aperture priority, -1/3EV, ISO400, 1/3200, f/6,3.

    Moderate crop, some spots in the water cloned out, levels, selective sharpening, noise reduction in LR4 and PSE9.

    Hi Richard,
    A great clean look at this shorebird. I, personally, really like these noisy plain shorebirds.
    Great body position and HA and I like the perch.
    The light was harsh and the image looks cool so I might make the image warmer.
    A lower POV would have eliminated the rippling water BG that I find a bit distracting.
