Another one in the series with wings down. Same settings.

A big welcome to BPN!
I prefer the wing position of the second image, and the exposure of the first. Nice framing effect in the second from the reflection above.
There are signs of some oversharpening along the rachis of some of the feathers, jagged edges showing up on the whites.
Most folks find the image more engaging if the bird is angled a bit towards the viewer.
It is preferred that you just post one image per post. You can do a repost of the original image if you make changes.
Look forward to more.
Cheers

Welcome to BPN Sean!
In the first image you need more room in front of the bird for him to fly into and less behind the bird.
I would also tone down or clone out the white blob under the chin.
You have nice light and IQ on the bird but I wish for a better position of the wings.
I don't know how proficient you are with PP but I think you can tease out more detail under the near wing of image 1.
A nice shot that can be improved dramatically with a few tweaks,
Gail

Thanks for the advice guys. Yes, my PP does need a bit of practice.
Sorry about the multiple image post, I guess I got too excited for my first thread! ;)
