What a wonderful catch!! The sharpness with that TC combination is impressive.

This is pretty cool Raymond. Great action portrayed.
Very impressive technically with all those teles on the 7D.
I really like the position of the legs of the near bird.
I could see a tighter crop from the right and left to really zoom the eye in on the action.

    Very cool action and IQ.
Hope you don't mind, I would crop this way tighter and lighten the shadow.
Your file size was very small (166kb), you can save to 400kb.
This was quick and it has a halo, but you get the idea.

Great action here and the leg positions and flying water liven it up. I agree about a tighter crop not sure Dan has it exact but on a good path.:) His work on the shadow improved it too.

I thought about it too. At the end, I was conservative and went with a landscape orientation for some room at the bottom, left, and right for the birds to follow through.

Thanks I don't mind at all, in fact, I had the portrait orientation in mind during my RAW edit. I thought your crop is a bit tight, but I get the idea. I will repost tomorrow.
Oh, I guess I haven't been on BPN for awhile, I didn't realize we can upload up to 400 kb now. Back then it was up to about 250 kb if I remember correctly.

He is on the right path. Like I said above, I had that orientation in mind. It's one of those shots I wanted to post it up and get some feedback. Thanks. :)

Dan's crop is going in the right direction, maybe a little looser. Great action shot and the dof looks pretty good.

Nice work Raymond, the repost does justice to the poses you captured.
