...but I thought it was kind of interesting anyway. Basically just Topaz Simplify, as you can tell.

Diane, I'm not so sure this is as easy as you think. My guess is a ski slope from a distance. Very nice flowing abstract lines ranging from white to black. I like that the 2 upper corners are soft, muted areas that balance each other and give boundaries to the top dramatic lines that then flow down to the bottom with abandon.

With some gnarly moguls on the sides.... No, that would be TREES for you lucky Colorado folks!

Sadly, I haven't been that close to a ski slope since a foot gave out on me some years ago. Too many lunch breaks spent with a boot off and the foot buried in a snow bank.

From the thumbnail I thought it was sand at the beach. I like the shadows form the trees and the b and w treatment.

I think I'll go with snow/ski run also. Not so easy though! I like the filter work and cool patterns in the image. Black and white was a good choice.

Diane, not that easy. The flow of the image reminds me of a river estuary. The shape is Idaho with a bit of the panhandle missing. Obviously I do not have a clue. I like the flow from top to bottom; as a river.

Diane, it looks like an aerial view of a river with trees and slopes. Whatever it is, it is lovely in black and white with Simplify.

OK -- you're an almost-winner, splitting the jackpot with Gary. But Nancy, Jackie and Judy were also close, so I'd better split it 5 ways....

It's a low level aerial view of tidal flats (near Beaufort, SC, on takeoff from the Lady's Island airport). Reminded me of the dry washes we see out west. I liked the pattern but it was pretty boring until I started playing.

Diane, I would never have guessed Beaufort

We've gotten into doing an annual spring trip through the south, and travel by small plane. Beaufort is a small-plane friendly airport so we've used it as a base several times, to rent a car and tour around coastal SC and down around Savannah.

Diane, I'm planning a spring trip either to the Natchez Trail (have you ever done it?) or coastal Georgia/S. Caroline/Charleston.
