    Default Black skimmer skimming

Went to Nickerson last night as the weatherman promised clear skies and light west winds....an ideal situation for flight. Well the winds were indeed westerly but a giant black cloud eliminated the sweet light of the last hour so I went to dinner with my friends instead. Got this right before the light was obliterated.

Great work Grace and I like the fact that the bird is in the front showing the trail. The wave action adds some spunk

Exposure is spot on. Lighting is quite pleasing to the eye. What I enjoy most is the choppy surf that the skimmer is foraging in. Typically, with skimmer images, they are shown foraging in calm water....this is refreshingly different. I dig the crop too.

Super angle towards you, awesome exposure and colors of the water, and I really like the unconventional way you've composed it, Grace. Skimmers often require that when skimming!
