Super close up Karl. Great color and I like the eye and feet detail. Looks like you are neck high in Osprey's . Nice one!

    Karl,

Going to be honest ... after seeing your last shot of the banking Osprey, this one just doesn't quite do it for me. It's by no means bad (very sharp and nice light), but the shooting angle, the wing position, and the shadows - just not great.

    Keep 'em coming though!

Exposure is spot on. The head/eye detail is very good. Wish the shooting angle appeared less steep and the wing positioning was more outstretched. I also can't help compare this with your previous (really awesome) post of this species...

Hi Karl, if you want my honest opinion this is not working. too big and too steep plus clipped wings... I don't think it's a keeper :)

Absolutely superb close with very nice light and shadow effect. Beautiful HA,eye, colors, details and lovely blue sky.
Very nice tight composition too. Love the frame.

    Satish.

    Thanks, Miguel.
I wish all my shots were as good as the banking one.

    Great shot.
Excellent details, but do agree. Angle is a bit steep.
    Still a nice shot.
    Well done.
