I was asked by Kerry and Cheryl to be a judge, which I am happy to do with so many great images being posted weekly! I find this forum totally inspiring! So without further ado as the saying goes.....my picks for the wee kly theme:Weather! I can't seem to fomat with bullets ( I just dropped my mouse), so here are the winners for this theme. First Place: Who Has Seen the Wind by Nancy Bell. Great tonal range and great drama! I would have preferred the wave at the top not being clipped, but it was still a strong enough image for me to capture first place. Great control and use of the Frac filter and the glass touch was perfect. Second Place: Wild Blue Yonder by Judy Howle. Beautiful colours, great framing, and great sense of depth. This image has a timeless quality to me. Third Place: Summer Cloud by Mitch Carucci. Part reality, part fantasy, I really got drawn into this one. I really enjoy your creativity Mitch. Congrats to all the winners, keep the wonderful photos coming.

Thanks for judging Jackie! I'm happy to be among such outstanding company. This was a fun theme for me since I have so many sunset sky photos. Congrats to Nancy and Mitch.

Thank you, Jackie! I, too, would have preferred to have that top tip of the wave. Congrats to Judy & Mitch!

I don't seem to be able to edit my original post, besides having a computer glitch this morning, I also had a brain cramp. I meant to pick Soaring into the Heavens for second place by Judy. Put in the wrong title, but it was the right critique. Sorry for the confusion.

No problem Jackie, I'm happy you liked it as it's one of my favorites. I spent a fair amount of time going through older "sunset" folders to locate the RAW file to work with!
