Default Common Tern on the rocks

This image is from our North Shore of Long Island where the beaches are rocky. Gives for a totally different background than the typical sandy beach, doesn't it?

I like the open beak, visible tongue, exposure, IQ, DOF, setting and composition. Excellent image Grace!

Nicely done. I really like the consistency of those beautiful rocks throughout the frame.

When I saw the thumbnail I immediately expected too busy a shot for me. Once opened I changed my mind and I really like the cool image those colorful round shaped rocks made. The colors all go well too.

The tern looks awesome. Great head and body angle, and the calling/begging? pose is sweet. The rocks are very unique.

I like the different take on the normal blurred out BG. Sharp, open mouth action, good capture.
