    Hazel, I like this a lot. I like the deep organic colors and the randomness of the leaf placement as well as the lighting. You might want to remove the stick on the left lower side - since it's the only stick it draws your attention to it. Nicely done

    I agree with Cheryl's comments. A very pleasing autumn palette of colors and the lighting adds interest.

    That deep red is rich. I think the scattered leaves are a bit too scattered and my eye wants to find something to focus on. Maybe a framing of some type would make the composition tighter. I love the play of the lighting.
