    Wow.

Love the detail in the bird and the background colour is fantastic.

This is defiantly something for me to aim for with my photography.

That's it!! I'm booking a trip next year. You sure got a ton of awesome shots in the few days that you were there. This one is a classic BE shot. Perfect fight angle and HA and the dark BG really looks great. Well done Arash..

I just love this image, Arash. The eagle against that BG just makes this image shine.

There are lots of eagle images out there, but the polish that you give to your images in the post processing sets them apart. I've looked at this one a couple times today...really superb.

Hi Arash, Everybody loves the shot including me... It has a 3D 'look' to it that is pretty stunning. However, nobody's mentioned the halo behind the wing, maybe they understand where it comes from but I don't... Can you enlighten me..? best regards DON

it's from natural light. it happens when BG is darker than wing feathers.

Amazing photo and I really like the shade of blue in the background. Can you include how you processed this?

Did you have a specific question Ashleigh? otherwise it's just my standard processing and noise reduction for high ISO...

Hi, no I was looking at the amazing feather detail and wondering what you use to do that?

I saw someone say NIK Detail Extractor and wondering if you use that?

    Thanks!

    Hi Ashleigh,

no, I don't use these things. Key to having a high quality image really comes down to one thing and that is getting a sharp and correctly exposed RAW file in the camera :)
