Outstanding, Ben! Shot in golden light, beautiful detail, love the story telling (Mom's tail gently brushing the face of the little one). Powerful image and I enjoyed viewing this a lot, the only suggestion I would make is to somehow take care of the branch/earth /rock in the BG at the bottom of the image (either by cloning or blurring or painting over, whatever you think appropriate and you are comfortable with). Not too distracting, but without it the little ellie would have even stronger impact, in my humble opinion. I see this image on a book cover, such a lovely moment and so well captured, congratulations Ben!

    Kind regards,
    Gabriela Plesea

Hi Ben, I'm with Garbiela here. Great light, details, sharpness. Wish that the dark shape in the BG wasn't there. Loi

Thanks for the comments. This is a repost with the rocks removed-opinions?

Hi Ben, nice work with the cloning on the repost although it does seems a little darker than the original? I'd stick with the light in the op if it was mine.

It's brilliant without the rocks! In other words, it really rocks now! Just a small thing, the image has become a bit too dark in the RP and some loss of detail on the mouth of the young ellie, but you can easily fix that.

    Kind regards,

Lovely light, moment and framing Ben.
As others echoed, the RP has been darkened too much.
Do you have a sliver more space on the RHS??

LOvely image well captured in great light, agree with above the removal of the rocks is great but the image is now too dark.
