    Default White Rhino

I have this image of white rhino I could not bring myself to delete-this fellow got so close that I could not fit his whole head into the frame, so no ears. I liked the textures on the horn and the ticks on its head, tried a black and white and then my imagination took over, got rid of a busy background at first with a vignette, but then it wasn't enough so I decreased the exposure and played with levels until I ended up with a completely black BG...

Wishing you all a pleasant evening,

Strong image. Don't know why you would delete it??? Like the B&W. (Rhinos have ears? Who knew ...)

Lovely detail and expression, Gabriela. I love this in black and white

Gabriela, you have to go with your heart and not what others may say! I love this image, strong thematic content and super technical rendition. Good job with the bg, I love a black background, it gives images a gallery feel. Very nice.

Thank you Kerry, precisely my intention- I wanted that "gallery feel", that simplicity and elegance one finds in some fine art prints. Not that I achieved it, but I keep aiming high, hoping to "get there" one day
I really appreciate your comments Kerry-I must admit I love to grab your attention, your comments always show not just encouragement, but also understanding of what I am trying to achieve.

    Kind regards,
