Taken a month ago in a local woods. It's tough to get these little guys in the forest without resorting to a high ISO and a fair amount of foliage removal in PP as I did here. And of course they like to stay above you. Still, I was glad to add him to my list of warblers. C&C always appreciated.

Bill, I feel as if a signigicant crop from the top might be worth considering. I realize the difficulty of images such as this, so I hesitate to mention it, but I'm not thrilled with how the perch intersects the frame. That said, I have almost no warblers in my files and you have been sharing one after the other this summer. Impressive.
Great image Bill! I expected some, but I see no noise whatsoever at ISO 2000 with the D7000-this is wonderful, the bird is sharp and I love the pose. The BG is a stunner, I see what Grace means by cropping from the top but on the other hand I wouldn't want to lose the lovely OOF leaves/flowers. I like this image as it is, congratulations on this great capture and processing!
Hi Bill,
We are going to have to start calling you the "warbler king"!
Nice pose and comp. I like the canopy of flowers and leaves you left in the image but could see a bit more off the top.
I see a bit of noise in the tail and far wing( easy fix).
I wish I had this many good warbler shots in my files.
I call warbler photography "extreme photography"!

The calling pose is excellent. A handsome warbler captured on a nicely sized perch. The background and particularly what's going on at the top of the frame, give the image a nice "forest" feel. Well done overall. I don't have any suggestions regarding cropping differently.
Thanks everyone for your comments and suggestions. Before posting the OP, I had experimented with several alternate crops, including this one that cropped out some of the canopy. I liked the canopy and opted for one that approximated a more traditional 3:2 format, but its all about personal preference, I guess.
