I started the migration season last Saturday with a group of Semis and Sanderlings at Revere Beach near Boston.
What I like about early migration is that we get to see remnants of the breeding plumage in adult shorebirds
    like the one presented.

I like the low angle, HA, raised foot, details and BG. Well done!

The light quality is excellent. The shooting angle/perspective is perfect. I also like the plumage and all the different transitional looks to the adult birds this time of year. The raised leg/foot, and the head and body angle work together to make for a very fine image of this bird.

Great low angle, awesome foot up pose, and the blues are particularly pleasing. All-in-all a very strong image!

Thanks Daniel. It was great to see the shorebirds so early. I hope it will be a great shorebirds migration season.
