I Come in Peace

[Doug West]

While at Nickerson Beach, Artie discovered that one of the Skimmers became
entangled in one of the wires that form the boundary around their area.

After getting the bird loose, Artie brought the bird over to show us how
sharp their beaks are.

Every time I look at the series of pictures I took of this, I can't help to think
of Artie looking like an alien as he approaches us humans :)

much more than snap the shutter. It's those little things that usually go unnoticed.
