Nice details and pose. Muted light worked nicely for you, and you did a good job keeping the BG from overpowering your image.

Nice pose, head turn, simple but effective perch. I'm OK with the OOF stuff in the BG, but I could do without the green one at upper left corner...for some reason it keeps grabbing my attention...

Beautiful IQ, tonalities and colors. Have to agree with Daniel about that one spot. If you don't clone, it could be cropped out and still have a very effective composition.

Hi Bill, lovely soft light, and I do like the pose. The softer colours on the warbler look great, as do the colours of the BG.

Thanks all. Funny, I hadn't noticed how distracting that blob was until you pointed it out. Here I've toned it down but left a vestige. While I was at it I removed the little bit of whitewash on the perch. Thanks for looking.

Very nice soft light image of this species. A little fill flash might have been nice here. The repost is excellent and completely fixed any suggestions I considered when looking at the OP. You did very well to get this pose on a clean perch. This species can be quite flitty imo.

The blob is now just right -- good work.
