You did an excellent job of getting your sensor parallel with your subject, keeping entire subject crisp. The golds in perch and BG complement subject well and the angled composition is much stronger than a centered butterfly facing straight up would have been. A fine image.

Allen: I really like the golds on this image. The sharpness throughout is excellent, something that is often hard to do with butterflies.

    Nice job.

Very well done indeed, excellent DOF and plane of focus, I like the composition though for me just a tad large in the frame. The colours blend together beautifully making for a very pleasing shot.

Hi Allen. Yet another excellent shot! You found a very nice specimen and captured it in attractive light with good sharpness throughout. I also like the diagonal comp and the butterfly stands out nicely from the background. Very cool!
