I just love these little skimmer chicks especially when they are walking or running or better yet jumping in the air like they do. I was going for the small in the frame here so I placed the chick to the far right and got low in the sand but I wish I was just a tad higher to see that other foot. I just love his walking pose

Very sweet image Cherly, I like the placement of the subject in the frame and comp gives a nice sense of how small and vulnerable these guys are.

Very cute Cheryl. Nice low angle view and sweet light, BG. The image may benefit with a counter clockwise rotation. Loi

Hi Cheryl - what a sweet image! Agree about the foot but still an excellent image.

Very sweet image Cheryl. I would prefer the bird location in the OP.

A truly endearing capture,Cheryl! The comp depicts the loneliness and helplessness of this little guy.Great that you captured the foot-up posture.

Pano works well here and I really like the raised foot and the water in the BG. He seems to alone yet full of mischief!
