It would appear mother is is telling her chicks to pay attention because they gotta learn to do this. I had photographed these chicks 8 days prior and was amazed how fast they grow. C&C welcome

What a sweet family picture! The only thing that others me is the harsh light, you may try and do a reverse curve on it to reduce the contrast!

Yes, the harsh light has a negative impact here, and the shadow atop the middle chick's bill is too bad. Nice interaction and poses though...looks like a happy family!!

Thanks for the recommendations - I do tend to go way too harsh. Hope this looks better - may need to back-off even more.
