    Default Bathing Ibis

    Ibis is easy to photograph.
This one was taken last week in Sydney, on a sunny day.

    Canon EOS 550D, Canon EF-S 55-250 at 250mm, ISO 400, f/6.3, 1/3200 sec.
Could someone tell me when I can become a BPN member?

    Toan,

We would love to help you become a member..feel fee to ask me if you have any questions.

Nice capture, the first thing that comes to mind is the subject placement in the frame. He needs more room in the front to move into the frame. The second thing is a hard one too...try and capture these guys at their eye level if possibly; I know that is challenging and will make you work the subject and area more...that is how we improve. I might lighten the eye some as well. A well lit..clean eye does wonders for a bird photograph.

Thanks for posting and please keep em coming.

One more thing: next time tell me more about your post processing. Moreover...JPEG..LR4...Photoshop..sharping and noise reduction.. etc.

    Thanks Jeff,
I cropped the image in LR. There were sharpening, noise reduction and a bit of tuning tone. All were done by LR.
I also tried to remove the branch in the bottom left conner ( I was hiding behind a bush plant while capturing this bird). The branch caused the different in colour and exposure at that corner.
Maybe next time I have to lie on the ground to get the eye-level
