This is another image of the trainer jets above the lock and dam at sunset. This is the actual cropped photo with 3 textures over it, which added the colors. The clouds were almost white. I love the way it looks like outer space!

Great job on adding the colors -- I wouldn't have known they weren't natural. And the texture definitely suggests stars. (In fact, do you have any night sky shots? Some "real" ones would be a great touch, in addition to the texture.)

A brilliant piece, Judy. It definitely has the look of deep space, and the contrails come in at nice angles in the frame. Very well done.

Very creative, Judy, and a perfect use of filters. Colors are yummy.

Thanks Diane! I don't have any night sky images other than sunsets. I used a texture I found on the web.

Thanks John and Cheryl! I'm glad you like the colors and I also thought the angles of the jet trails were good.

I've been reading a lot of old science fiction books lately, and I think this would make a great cover for one of them! It does indeed look like outer space, with a couple of spaceships streaking through space. Nice job all around on this!

Thanks much Kerry! I like the way an ordinary image with just white clouds and light blue sky was turned into a much more interesting and colorful "deep space" look.
