Sometimes "grab shots" that are kind of messy wind up being some of my favourites. I love it when there is order in the chaos of mother nature. I snapped this one while wandering around the eastern slope of the Andes one morning in Ecuador. Maybe not everyone's cup of tea. I see what you mean, Glenn. I might have had to think twice about this one when I saw it in the camera, but the color of the beautiful tanager makes him pop out of his environment just enough for it to work.
