A whole family was sitting on the branches of a fallen tree, above the water.
(This is my favorite spot for BEKI but it was no show this time)

Nice pose Karl.
I can see form the sun angle, you lightened the shadow on the bird and did a nice job.
i might try to lighten the dark blog in the BG.

Nice looking composition , i like the way the the birds eye looks and the pose is nice
i like the BG here the 2 colours makes it nice to look at, details look nice
if any change i may suggest a slight darkning of the perch on the top 1 inch just a tab bit bright. However like it as presented too. very cute looking bird here

Sweet pose , nice detail and bg. I prefer the op as I think you may have gone a little too blue on the repost. Also Karl I see a few artifacts from masking perhaps in the repost.

Excellent image.Beautiful pose with nice head turn and drooping wings,nice colors,BG,perch and composition.
If mine I will go for little tight crop on RHS,top and bottom.
