Excellent work, Allen! The lovely BG complements the subject's colors perfectly. Although the pennant is perched, it appears to be on the verge of flight. Sharp where it needs to be--slight softness on wingtips doesn't bother me a bit, it actually adds to the sense of motion. Composition works very well also.

Very nice! The muted bkgd colors could not be more perfect for this dragonfly. Great pose of the dragonfly and I really like the details of the white veins in the wings and the hairs on the legs. The softness of the wing tips add nicely to the overall perspective of the dragonfly.
