Excellent take-of pose, shooting angle & wings position Gail. Pinkish colors nicely pops against the dark BG. TFS

Another nice head on pose a beautiful Spoonbill. Nice symmetry with the wing position and the topside of the bill looks cool. The exposure, details, water drops and the colorful BG make for a nice shot. Well done Gail.

    Nice picture Gail.
I like Love the birds position and the water drops add to the image.
I find it vary hard to find anything to critique on your images. The only thing I can come up with is I don't know If I would have liked an even faster shutter speed to make the whole of both wings sharp.

The "in your face" take off pose, trailing water, and sharp head all make this a dramatic image. I like a bit of wing blur to imply motion, but prefer a bit less than presented here. Not a deal breaker though!

Hi Gail, you were waiting for this take off, and you nailed it. Great head on capture, symmetrical wing position, and the pinks of the spoonie really stand out against the darker BG. I like those large droplets.

I probably would have liked a bit more SS also, but a very nice dead on perspective and the water drops add a lot.

Very cool Gail. Love the water drops and they are nice and sharp. I also love the dof with the head super sharp and the flight angle right at you is awesome.
