Coming in
A Steppe Eagle , light morph

5D MIII + 400 f2.8 + 2x TC
f 7.1 , ISO 1000, 1/4000
Cropped vertical from the original horizontal, as i did not want to include the metal light pole in the frame it was very distracting to my eye
let me know what you think.
Critiques and suggestions welcome

I like it a lot
very powerful and dynamic pose
looks a little flat ie lacking in contrast?

Nice landing pose, but feels a bit awkward without something that he is obliviously landing on.

Vishal,
Great moment captured with the talons extended. I don't mind that you cropped out the light post, but would like to see this in a horizontal if possible.
A bit of contrast, as Richard mentioned, would be a nice touch.

Vishal,
Can you show us the original? It would help to see crop options.
I think you need a bit more contrast or perhaps increase the blacks by 1 or 2 points in the neutrals and blacks in selective coloring in photoshop if you have it.
I would like a sliver more space on the left as well.
IQ of the eagle is excellent and love the wing pose and fanned tail. Nice, soft diffuse lighting.

Awesome capture! I might like a little more contrast, but that's a very small wish. It isn't what I would call flat.
I'd add some canvas on the left -- it the light pole was there, should be easy to remove it with that evenly-toned sky. Cropping a little off the bottom might help with wondering what it was landing on.

Will try and post the one with the contrast added today once i get back home, i did add contrast to the whole image and it looks a bit odd so removed it, so now i guess i i will give it a contrast on the bird itself, have added 2 points of black in it already guess more is needed.
Let me see try and do a repost tonight.

Very nice landing pose & details. As I photographed many of these guys last winter, the contrast is OK for me. But I prefer Horizontal version without light post. TFS

Very nice landing pose. I think the contrast looks ok to me but not sure what the bird looks like. Details look very good as dose the exposure. Some more room on the left would be nice. Well done

Here is the repost
Added the silver on the left , tried and played with selective colour and contrast on the bird, this is the nearest to the one i saw in the field i have seen a individual 2 shades lighter than this one too.

Let me your thoughts
thanks for the inputs

Love the pose, the repost looks better as it has more space on the left.
