    I snuck up on this dowitcher while it was bathing. It rewarded me with a great after-bath wing flap. This was the best of the series. The light was still a little bright, but at least it gave me plenty of shutter speed to work with

    Great jump pose. Wings and dangling feet are just right.

    I really like the dangling legs with just a touch of water on the toes. The wing position is superb and the detail in them is very nice. Very smooth background and nice composition. I keep going back to look and liking it more each time I do...

    Very nice. Very sharp and exposed well. Love the pose and wing position. The water BG showcases this very well. Nice work.
