    Default Face in the Cloud

This is more OOTB than the other entry. It is a different image, shot vertically. I added canvas to the right side and filled it in with content aware fill and a bit of cloning cleanup. I used Silver Efex 2 and Photoshop Dry Brush and Paint Daubs filters lightly in soft light mode.

Judy, this one is very dramatic. I like the color combination

This one really makes the "face" stand out Judy. I wish we got clouds like that up here.

Thanks Jackie. We have had lovely clouds almost every day with spotty rain very often this summer. I saw some amazing ones yesterday but I was on the way to a friend's house to set up her new computer. Wish I could have gone to the lake.

This is wonderful! I'd die for clouds like that! Here in N CA we have two kinds of sky -- severe clear and solid gray. Also two seasons -- summer (dry) and winter (rain). Not much in between.

Thanks Diane! I'm sorry you don't have beautiful cloud formations. I love to photograph them.

Very well seen and captured! It makes me think of some mythical god of the skies blowing the winds to the corners of the earth! A favorite game my mom would play with my sister and me when we were young was to look for shapes in the clouds and make up stories.

Nice job on this one Judy, and the image works well for the theme! I like the duo-tone look you got; it really adds to the drama of the scene.
