That is one mangled up trout! Don't tell me one of the chicks managed to get that down the hatch?!
Very nice image with tons of detail and great color.

I can sum this shot up with one word, awesome! Everything is spot on and works to elevate this image. After seeing this shot I'm afraid to post any more of my own, lol.

Cracking shot. Super details and the troat makes this one special.

I can see a strange vertical line beneath the chin of the bird and a couple of them beneath the pectoral fin of the fish. Could be ripples in the water or my ipad though.

Stunning image, Alan! Love the low angle, f11 to make sure all is crisp. You must have been very close to subject to use such a big F. Detail is fantastic. On the Mac the whites look a bit hot on throat of bird and underside of fish, maybe curves mask?
    Regards

    Andre.

Oh man this is awesome! My favorite part is the clear fresh water rumbling alongside the loon and the distorted lines within that water.

Awesome. Great light and exposure handling. Love the trout. On my monitor the image seems just a bit too yellow.

    Great stuff!

What a killer image, Alan. Love the water against the bird here and those greens you were able to bring out in the bird's head. Details are just over the top and the fish....!!!
