    Reviewing some old images on the laptop, processed on it also. I hope it comes out ok. I spent 5 hours one year looking for these, then came back two years later and they were a lot more accessable. Go figure.

    Hi Steve. This is an intersting bird in which I have never seen before. I like the pose and the perch is interesting, But there is a soft glow around the bird. Perhaps masking the sky out of whatever adjustments you made to cause this problem would have prevented it. There is also a strong halo along the top of the bill and head. The bg also has some noise and numerous dust spots, but I do like that rich sky color. Sorry, I can't help you with that meal ID.

    Well composed and nice pose Steve. Shawn has covered the nits nut I congratulate you on being able to capture this little guy after such a long lapse of time.. thanks for ssharing a species I have never seen.

    I am just curious, where did you take this picture? it looks like a female MT. Nice perch and pose.

    It was shot in Tamalapus state, Mexico. I could not see well on my laptop, there are spots on the screen, plus spots in the photo, iI should probably redo it on my desktop computer. On theother hand, it is time to see the the eye doctor about the spots since i do not see all the nits anyway..
