    beautiful image that also tells a story. I like this image a lot because of that.

    I like the body position and the opening of the nest. the only thing that would improve it would be some eye contact.

    This could not have been easy to capture. I photographed this same bird at a nearby zoo building a nest, and what a challenge it was. They are so darn quick!!! Love seeing the entire nest with the bird, and esp the entrance. The angle of the bird works well. There is enough eye for me. Might add a touch of sharpening to the side of the bird's head.

    Marina, you are absolutely right, these birds never stay still and it was very windy and the nests were swaying about a lot which made it even more difficult. I have posted a couple of videos of this on YouTube. Just search for Sanjeev Aurangabadkar on YouTube and you can see the short video clips.
