    One of our most common open country birds hereabouts. D7000, 300 f4 AF-S, TCE14-ll, hand-held.

    1/1250, f6.3, ISO180, spot-metered on the head, -1 1/3EV. Raw converted and cropped in LR4, some adjustments to color, curves etc. The plant color was toned down a bit.

    Nice perch and bird, Richard.
    The bird image could have benefited form using fill flash.
    Light must have been harsh.

    Lovely pose and perch. Nice composition as well. Too bad you had harsh light.
